About Me

Maureen Kolhoff is a 28-year-old artist from the Netherlands. When she was little she often entered coloring contests and enjoyed being creative. Since high school she knows that she wants to do nothing but make art.

From 2017 to 2019 Maureen studied at the Edinburgh Atelier of Fine Art (EAFA) in Edinburgh, Scotland. Here Maureen learned to draw and paint according to the ''classical'' method and this is where her love for painting still lifes in oil began.

​

Besides paintings, Maureen also makes street drawings and murals.  Maureen thinks the great thing about street art is that you can work big, that it is accessible art, because it is made in public space and the interaction with people while you are working.  

 

Maureen hopes to make the world a little more beautiful and colorful with her work.
